Arthur Eugene Phillips III

age 58, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health Hospital. He was born April 19, 1960 to Arthur Phillips Jr. who preceded him in death on July 13, 2013 and Jeanine K. Phillips who preceded him in death on March 20, 1992. He was married to Carrie (Rowe) from 1983-1986.

Arthur is survived by a son Nathaniel Phillips of Columbus, Ohio and a daughter Shaneka Smith of Columbus, Ohio, one brother Ronald A. Phillips of Bluffton, Indiana, two sisters Shellie Phillips and Donna Phillips both of Lima, Ohio, three grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He graduated from Wayne Trace High School in 1979 and served in the Army from 1979-1982. Arthur enjoyed camping and fishing.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1-3PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, OH.
