A. J.  Keasler

88, died at 6:19 PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio.

A.J. was born on June 10, 1932, in Alcoa, Tennessee, to the late Theodore Howard Keasler and Virginia (Brown) Keasler. On August 5, 1961, he married Donna (White) Keasler.

He was a graduate of Everett High School, in Maryville, TN. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Ohio Northern and received his MBA from Indiana University. He retired from teaching at the Elida School system after 37 years, he also volunteered at the Allen County Museum and Our Daily Bread for 18 years. He was a member of the Lima Senior Citizens Center, a Life Member of the VFW Post 1275 and the Elida Immanuel Church where he also taught Sunday School.

He is survived by: daughters, Alicia Jean (Steve) Wittler, of Ottoville, OH, Marie Nichols, of Houston, TX, Lynne (David) Ray, of Oklahoma City, OK, Trina Graves, of Yorktown, VA; ten Grandchildren, Kyle, Kari and Kali Lindeman, Paul and Tony Williams, Autumn and Kirstie Witt, Christopher Bingman, Andre and A.J. Keasler; four great grandchildren, Karylle Lindeman, Erich Lindeman, Skyler Hines and Jaxon Hines; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Keasler and  Zora Keasler.

He was also preceded in death by: his wife, Donna Keasler; two brothers, Paul Keasler and David Keasler and a sister, Mary Ruth Keasler.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 2, from 2-8 P.M.  at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin on Monday, May 3, at 11 am, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. A Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 1275.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Daily Bread.
