Aaron Jacob Hogan, 36, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Aaron was born on September 11, 1987, in Lima, Ohio to William “Bill” and Nancy (Stair) Hogan.
Aaron was a friend to all and never knew a stranger. He was an Explorer with the Sheriff’s Dept. and he loved working the Allen County Fair with the parking detail. Aaron loved fishing, kayaking, enjoyed mowing, and just being outside. He enjoyed listening to The Gaithers and Randy Travis.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: John Hogan, Mark Hogan, and Stephen (Tiffanie) Hogan; nieces: Elaina Phalen, Alexandria Hogan, Sara Hogan, and Ava Hogan; nephews, Jenson Hogan and Bentley Johnson; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. James R. and Joretta Stair, and paternal grandparents, Willie and Ruth Hogan.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, with viewing one hour prior to service from 12 – 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Lima, on the corner of Irvin and Cole St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
