94, died at 11:10 AM on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Otterbein Cridersville Assisted Living in Cridersville, Ohio.

Aileen was born January 4, 1922, in Vaughnsville, Ohio, to the late Andral K. Vandemark and Catherine (Hofferbert) Vandemark.

Aileen was a homemaker. She graduated from Gomer High School. She married Charles Irvin on June 21, 1953; he survives in Cridersville, Ohio. She was a member of the Westside United Methodist Church and a former 4-H Advisor.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine (Donald) Offenbacher, of Elida, OH; three grandchildren, John (Kristen) Offenbacher, of Chicago, IL, Mark (Kirstin) Offenbacher, of Fishers, IN, and Christine Offenbacher, of Toledo, OH; four great grandchildren; a brother, Carl (Sharon) Vandemark, of Lima, OH, a sister, Ruth Moughton, of Roanoke, VA and a sister-in-law , Bonnie Vandemark, of Lima, OH.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Edith Glancy, Bernice Tompkins, Erma Meier, and Catherine Maxine Fritz, a brother, Kenneth Vandemark and a brother-in-law Alfred Moughton.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. William Cronk will officiate.
