41, died at 7:45 P.M. on Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Lima, Ohio.

Alan was born on September 9, 1974, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Robert Barnett and Carroll (Cooper) Barnett.

He loved all his children. He had a passion for football. His favorite NFL team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, college team was Michigan. He was a coach and player for the Lima Warriors Semi-Pro Football Team. He loved to stream video games. He was a graduate of Bowling Green State University.

He is survived by, his Fiancée, Rhonda Salisbury, of Lima, OH; ten children, Dante Barnett, of Orlando, FL, Aaron Barnett, of Garfield Heights, OH, Halle Barnett, of Toledo, OH, Kara Barnett, of Toledo, OH, Logan Barnett, of Cincinnati, OH, Alexis Barnett, of Zainesville, OH, Trey Barnett, of Zainesville, OH, Alaysia Barnett, of Zaineville, OH, Brayden Barnett, of Lima, OH, Jalen Moelle-Kile, Colton Salisbury; three brothers, Robert Barnett, Tony Barnett and Dominique Barnet.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Brian Barnett.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.
