Alan was born on December 19, 1948, in Clyde, Ohio, to Norm Winke and the late Elizabeth (Paul) Winke.
Alan married Vickie Burdette on May 16, 1980. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2012. He was an avid bowler and a member of the American Legion and Orioles both of Lima.
He is survived by his father, Norm Winke, of Akron, OH, two sons, Matt (Arlene) Winke, of Hamilton, OH, and Kenny Winke, two daughters, Heidi (Jeff Rushing) Winke, of Riverside, OH, and Heather Haueter, of Riverside, OH, a stepson, Jason (Susan) Burdette, of Lima, OH, and stepdaughter, Jamie Pryor, of Columbus, OH, fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren a brother, Kenneth (Carol) Winke, of Clyde, OH and a sister, Carol VanFleet, of Clyde, OH.
There will be no visitation.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Butternut Cemetery, Clyde, OH.
