Alice Beeson

Alice E. ?Betty? Beeson, 83, died at 10:15 a.m. January 26, 2008, at The Ridge at Shawnee. She was born August 4, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to Louis T. and Leona B. McDonel Vermillion, who preceded her in death. On March 6, 1954, she married Thomas E. Beeson, who died October 26, 2006. Mrs. Beeson had been an optical assistant at White-Haines Optical Co, Lima, Ohio. Later in life she became a seamstress. Survivors include two brothers, Richard P. (Ruth) Vermillion, of Cridersville, Ohio, and Robert (Lisa) Vermillion, of Sebring, Florida; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas Adams and Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to South Side Christian Church Building Fund or to a charity of the donor?s choice.
