Alisa "Ali" A. Diehm

Alisa "Ali" A. Diehm, 48, died at on Wednesday, February 9, 2014, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.
Alisa was born on October 27, 1965, in Lima, Ohio, to Franklin M. Kohler and Ruth M. (Zapp) Kohler. They reside in Lima.

Alisa was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She graduated from Lima Central Catholic in 1983. She received a Bachelor in Art at Ohio Northern University and was an Art teacher for over 10 years. She then attended Rhodes State University nursing program and graduated #1 in her class. She worked as a registered nurse. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

She was survived by: a son Andrew Diehm of Marysville, OH; a daughter Sarah Diehm of Marysville, OH; a sister Angela (John Schneider) Kohler-Schneider of Lima, OH; two nephews Luke and Noah Schneider; and many other friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents Helen & Marvil Zapp and paternal grandparents Leo & Margaret Kohler.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio with Father Stephen Blum officiating.

Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
