Alvin "Al" Fosse

Alvin “Al” Fosse , 92 , passed away at 5:11 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 following complications from dementia.

Alvin was born in LaPorte City, Iowa, on July 4, 1929. The son of Ogden and Claire Fosse.

Alvin graduated from University of Iowa with a Business Degree. He then served with the United States Air Force in the Philippines until receiving his honorable discharge. He moved to Lima, Ohio and was a Stockbroker until he retired. He married Carolyn Davis at the Market Street Presbyterian Church on March 12, 1960. Al was a member of Market St. Presbyterian Church, the Kiwanis and Torch Clubs. He was a long-time member of Westside Swim and Racquet Club and loved to play tennis. He was an avid fisherman and outdoors man.

Survived by his wife Carolyn Fosse of Lima, a son Damien Fosse of Bishop Hill, Illinois; a daughter Shelly Fosse of Findlay, Ohio; and a sister-in-law Evelyn Fosse of LaPorte City, Iowa.

He was proceeded in death by a brother, Howard Fosse.
