Ananias Armstead Sr. 73, died at 3:58 p.m. November 2, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1936, in Florence, Alabama, to Richard and Easter Chandler Armstead, who preceded him in death. Mr. Armstead had worked in delivery for UPS and was owner/operator of Ananarias Carwash. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include three sons, Ananias (Sabrina) Armstead Jr., of Murrieta, California, Harold (Patricia) Armstead, of Sacramento, California, and Tyree Watson Armstead, of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren, Breana Armstead, Dante Armstead, Marcel Armstead, Jarrell Armstead, Chantell Armstead and Dariell Armstead; a sister, Liz Waldon, of Lima, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; several cousins; and special friends Nancy Schramski and Athena Nyers. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie Lee Armstead, John Lewis Armstead and Rueben Armstead; and two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Gloria Thomas. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Robert L. Toney will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
