Andrew Hooks

ANDREW J. ?JOE? HOOKS, 61, died at 7 a.m. June 23, 2006 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1945, in Lima, Ohio to Andrew Frank and Pauline Nance Hooks, who preceded him in death. He married Linda Craig, who survives. Mr. Hooks retired in 2002 from Sprint, after 34 years. He enjoyed spending time in his woodworking shop. Survivors also include two daughters, Cristie (Brian) Tracy of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, and Joannie (Matt) Holbein of Morrow; two sons, Mitch Hooks of Lima, Ohio and Wes Bice of South Dakota; a sister, Doris (John) Wall of Lima, Ohio and seven grandchildren, Colin Tracy, Brock Briley, Madison Holbein, Haley Holbein, Nina Bice, Josh Bice and Caleb Bice. Services will begin at noon Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastors Tom Mattiuzzo and Brian Tracy will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
