Anita Kay Ambroza,
70, of Lima, Ohio, died on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at 1:30 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, November 11, 1941 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joe Shaw and the late Etta (Fox) Shaw.
Anita married Nelson Ambroza on March 20, 1965. He survives in Lima. She had been a beautician for 50 years working at the "Ida Louise "and the "House of Styles". She was a member of the South Side Christian Church. She was an avid bowler, a permanent member of the W.I.B.C. and was involved in many leagues. She was also a member of the local Bowling Hall of Fame.
Surviving are: a son, Eric (Shelley) Ambroza of Lima, OH; a daughter, Sally Shafer; two grandchildren, Drew and Abbey Ambroza; two brothers, Jay (Jean Ellen) Shaw of Phoenix, AZ and Donald (Becky) Shaw of Spencerville, OH; two sisters, Judy (Bob) Thompson of Lima, OH and Jeanne (Craig) Somers of Lima, OH; a sister-in-law Joan Shaw of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Shaw.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at South Side Christian Church with the Rev. Douglas Adams officiating.
