Anita Smith

ANITA M. SMITH, 46, died at 11:20 p.m. February 12, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born May 8, 1959, in Lima, Ohio to Donald and Ruthanne Fenton Dahill. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima. On May 7, 1985, in Lima, Ohio, she married Dennis Smith, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Smith was a receptionist/secretary at the Lima Memorial Health System Medical Park Women's Health Center. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary and Orioles Nest 173. Survivors also include a daughter, Nicole Renee Smith at home; a brother, John Dahill of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Carol (Robert) Long of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Dahill, who is listed as MIA in Vietnam. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Tina Dietsch will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
