ANNA EILEEN HOLLAR, 79, died at 8:59 p.m. Jan. 10, 2007, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born Jan. 8, 1928, in Newark to Walter and Monad Keenan Williams, who preceded her in death. On May 24, 1947, she married Dean J. Hollar, who survives. Mrs. Hollar had worked in food services and as a drug store clerk. She was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8832 Auxiliary, Roundhead. She was an Ohio Reads tutor for kindergartners in Huntsville. She was an avid reader and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors also include four children, Ralph (Linda) Hollar, Robert (Darlene) Hollar, Carleen (Robert "Bob") Montgomery and Steven (Marie) Hollar, all of Lima; a brother, Robert Williams, of Lima; two sisters, Edna (Ralph) Davis and Karen (Richard) Osborn, both of Lima; and 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Stanley Hollar; and a brother, Harold Williams. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Vernik will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
