Anna Rose Kincaid 82, died at 1:30 a.m. August 4, 2009, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born May 8, 1927, in Lima, Ohio to Joseph and Gertrude Roessler Langle, who preceded her in death. On December 28, 1945, she married James D. Kincaid, who survives in Lima, Ohio. They had been married for 63 loving years. Mrs. Kincaid retired in 1989, after 26 years, from the American Cancer Society, where she had worked since 1963. She was hired as an executive director of the Allen County Unit, where her success earned her a position as a field representative for all 88 counties in Ohio. Her job was hiring and teaching the secretaries in all the small county offices. She was a member of First Evangelical & Reform Church, since 1947, where she was a member of its Sunday school class, taught Sunday school as a member of its Builders Class and was director of the Junior Youth Fellowship Class and its Sunday school. She loved her grandchildren very much. Survivors also include a son, James J. (Kim) Kincaid, of Columbus Grove, Ohio; two daughters, Kathy (Dennis) Stump, of Lima, Ohio, and Karen Sheets, of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Adam Sheets, Jamie (Brent) Merz, Joseph Kincaid and Meredith Kincaid; and a sister, Trudy Riegle. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at First Evangelical & Reform Church. The Rev. Ed Rhinehart, the Rev. Larry Blunden and Paul Kreher will officiate. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
