ANNA L. O'KEEFE, 73, of Oviedo, Fla., formerly of Lima, died at 1:05 a.m. July 11, 2006, at Tuskawilla Nursing/Rehab Center, Winter Springs, Fla., after a sudden diagnosis of cancer. She was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Lackey, Ky., to Greene and Jayhazie Minnix Conley, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 1964, she married William E. O'Keefe, who died Nov. 3, 1988. Mrs. O'Keefe worked for several years at Lima Register Co. before deciding to spend more time as a homemaker. She was the eldest child in her family. She traveled extensively for several years before marrying William O'Keefe, of Lima. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, playing cards and family gatherings, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Roy G. (Cece) Bailey of Lima; two daughters, Kimberly A. (Jim) Stewart of Hudson, and Karen L. (Rob) O'Keefe-Payne of Oviedo, Fla.; eight siblings, Burnis Conley of Sanford, Fla., Edward G. (Shelly) Conley of Warsaw, Ind., Fannie Beeman of Lebanon, Ind., Wilber L. (Teat) Conley of Mousic, Ky., Robert (Brenda) Conley of Morraco, Ind., Georgia S. (Norm) Conley Krichbaum of Warsaw, Ind., Coye (Mary Lou) Conley of Dallas, and Bart Conley of Warsaw, Ind.; six grandchildren, Casey Bailey, Renee Bailey, Nicholas Stewart, Tara Stewart, Sean Stewart, and Julian O'Keefe; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Isaac and Isabelle. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kerry Lynn O'Keefe, and a brother, Anthony Conley. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Huckins will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
