Annabelle DeCurtins

ANNABELLE "ANNIE" DeCURTINS, 83, died at 9:35 a.m. August 8, 2005, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. She was born October 23, 1921, in Lima, Ohio to William E. and Myrtle Eley Carr, who preceded her in death. On July 15, 1943, at St. John Catholic Church, she married Joseph Anthony DeCurtins, who died January 10, 1997. Mrs. DeCurtins was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Dennis (Teresa) DeCurtins of Lima, Ohio; two daughter, Debra Locke of Louisville, Kentucky, and Mary Jo (Dick) Stewart of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Tom (Betty Rose) Carr of Huntsville, Ohio; a sister, Darlene Schwaiger of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brett (Annemarie) DeCurtins, Jon (Alysha) DeCurtins and Michele Locke, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe (Heather) Locke of Louisville, Kentucky, Jared (Stephanie) Stewart of Columbus, Ohio and Jesse Stewart of Lima, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Maxwell DeCurtins, Cecilia DeCurtins, Jack DeCurtins and Skylar Locke. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Joe Carr; and four sisters, Violet Ream, Thelma Korson, Mildred "Mid" Schaffter and Kate Taylor. Private graveside services will be held in Gethsemani Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Kummerer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Central Catholic High School Capital Campaign, 720 S.
