Anthony Lake

Anthony Lake, 63, passed away at 3:29 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.

Anthony was born on March 12, 1960 in Lima, Ohio, to Chalmer and Wanda (Hurst) Lake.

Anthony worked at Superior Wholesale.  He loved music and was an avid sports fan of UK basketball, Raiders football, and Reds baseball.  He also enjoyed traveling when he could.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lake; son, Christopher (Whitney) Lake; daughter, Megan (John) Brunswick; grandchildren: Ryder and Coby Lake, Austin Curry, and Aiden Brown; sister, Joy (Paul) Warren; and girlfriend, Terri Watterson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chalmer Lake; sister, Patricia Runkle; and brother, Scott Lake.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m.  Rev. Russ Stringfield will officiate.  In honor of Anthony, the family would like visitors to wear University of Kentucky or Cincinnati Reds clothing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
