Antoinette Catherine "Ann" Guidera, 97, died at 8:10 p.m. May 30, 2008, at her residence. She was born November 4, 1910, to Nicholas V. and Marie Guidera, who preceded her in death. Ms. Guidera retired from W.J. Noonan Co. She also worked as a buyer for Feldmans Inc. and worked at Madisons Inc. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of St. Rita's Auxiliary and a former member of the Professional and Business Club Federation of Women's Club. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Lima, and the Legion of Mary. During World War II, she volunteered her time at the military canteen and the Civilian Defense. Survivors include four sisters, Mary Rose Guidera and Rose J. Guidera, both of Lima, Ohio, and her caregivers, Angie Guidera and Jane Guidera, both of Lima, Ohio; a brother, George (Mary) Guidera, of Lima, Ohio; five nephews, Joseph Guidera, of Toledo, Ohio, Stan (Robin) Guidera, of Perrysburg, Ohio; William (Denise) Guidera, of Texas, Paul (Julie) Guidera, of Lima, Ohio, and Bryan (Kelly) Guidera, of Virginia; two nieces, Lucia Guidera and Rita (Tom) Burgee, both of Lima, Ohio; and five great-nephews, six great-nieces and a great-great-niece. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maria Guidera and Frances Guidera. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be Gethsemani Cemetery.
