ARNENA MARY HAMILTON, 54, died at 6:38 a.m. April 17, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1952, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Clifford and Arnena Mary Cox Sebastiano, who preceded her in death. She was married November 27, 1971, in Port Clinton, Ohio to Monty R. Hamilton, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Hamilton was a graduate of Ohio Northern University and was a special-education teacher for Lima City Schools. She had developed programs for DARE and was a charter member of the DARE Boosters. She was a member of Market Street Presbyterian Church and served as a Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school director, choir member and a deacon. She was an artist model, a Cub Scout den leader, a Girl Scout leader, a soccer coach, a member of the Lima Civic Chorus and a Wilton Cake Decorating Instructor. Survivors also include four daughters, Tina M. Hamilton, of Lima, Ohio, Bethany J. Hamilton, of Columbus, Ohio, Christy N. Hamilton, of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Monica R. Hamilton, of Columbus, Ohio; five brothers, Frank Mahr, of Catawba, Ohio, John Mahr, of Sandusky, Ohio, Ed (Cecile) Mahr, of Port Clinton, Ohio, Clifford (Jackie) Sebastiano, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Kevin Sebastiano, of Port Clinton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Aaron J. Snider, of Lima, Ohio, Derek J. Snider, of Lima, Ohio, and Brandon J. Snider, of Lima, Ohio; former sister-in-law, C. Susan Mahr, of Port Clinton, Ohio; mother-in-law, Ioda B. Wickliff, of Bellefontaine, Ohio; sister-in-law, Rhonda (David) Fairclough, of Swanton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Dion (Sue) Wickliff, of Zionsville, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Ann Gresh; a sister-in-law, Julie Sebastiano; a brother-in-law, Larry A. Gresh; and two nephews, Scott Mahr and Dana Sebastiano. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Market Street Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Thomas Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
