Auda (McPheron) Wetherill, 95 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, September 9, 2011, at Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, March 22, 1916 in Harrod, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clay McPheron and the late Ruth Grubb McPheron. She was the wife of Justus F. "Jack" Wetherill.
Mrs. Wetherill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and had been a teacher in Lima/Allen County Schools for 35 years. She was a former member of West Elm United Church of Christ, Lima, Ohio. Most recently she was a member of Lima Trinity United Methodist Church, Lima, Ohio. She belonged to Altrusa International, the League of Women Voters, Delta Kappa Gamma, the Allen County Retired Teachers Association and the Friends of Ohio Northern University.
Surviving are son: John Andrew "Andy" (Donna) Wetherill of Cleveland, OH., two grandchildren, Amy (Paul) Word of OR., and Julie Flues, OR., two great grandchildren Jeremy Baker and Logan Flues, several cousins and other relatives who were all important in her life. She was preceded in death by infant brother.
Friends may call Monday, September 12, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Graveside burial will take place at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
