Barbara E. Moorman Klosterman, 72, died at 6:10 p.m. July 3, 2008, at her residence. She was born on June 12, 1936, in Van Wert to Carl and Alice McCray Parsons, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 7, 1993, she married Donald Klosterman, who survives. Mrs. Klosterman was a private caregiver for 26 years for many hospice patients. She was a member of the American Legion Post 96, Lima. She will be sadly missed by friends and family, especially by Lulu and Amos. Survivors also include two sons, Randy (Becky) Moorman, of Lima, and Greg Moorman, of Findlay; three daughters, Brenda (Steve) Fisher, Tammy (Rod) O'Dell, and Dee Dee (Steve) Hunt-Sarno, all of Lima; four stepdaughters, Tammy (Mike) Taber, of Leadville, Colo., Sheri Spicer, of Glendale, Ariz., Cindy (Chris) Brown, of Botkins, and Deb Turner, of Waynesfield; seven brothers, Kenneth (Ruth) Parsons, of Van Wert, Richard Parsons, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Myles (Carol) Parsons, of Wren, Roger (Linda) Parsons, of Ohio City, Doyle (Pam) Parsons, of Scott, Carl (Judy) Parsons and Merle (Deb) Parsons, both of Van Wert; four sisters, Betty Vaught, of Bloomington, Ind., Shirley Arnett, of Elletsville, Ind., Martha Stripe, of Van Wert, and Romaine (Donnie) Sparks, of Martinsville, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Janet Moorman, of Lima; 11 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Jim Arnett, Bob Vaught and Frank Stripe; a sister-in-law, Ann Parsons; and a son-in-law, Steven Hunt. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. The Rev. Herb Wieber will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice, Lima.
