Barbara Ann Morris 77, died at 8:45 p.m. December 30, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1932, in Lima to Lawrence Charles Copeland and Sylvia Marian Bodiker Grouver, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 21, 1970, she married Kenneth P. Morris, who died April 4, 1992. Mrs. Morris attended St. Gerard Catholic School. She was a longtime member of Gardendale Church of God. She was a member of Westgate Neighborhood Association. She had been a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a volunteer at the soup kitchen and Samaritan House. She was a passionate supporter of the Allen County Humane Society. She will be remembered for her love of family, her care of all of God?s creatures, her ability to tell a good joke and her passion for all Buckeye sports. Survivors include a daughter, Linda S. (Gary) Baker, of Worthington; two sisters, Shirley Breda and Sylvia (Paul) Schulz, both of Lima; a brother, Lawrence (Shirley) Copeland, of Findlay; and two grandchildren, J. Michele Baker, of Denver, and Kyle P. Baker, of Columbus. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Bosserman. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Davy will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
