55, died at 6:08 a.m. May 9, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1948, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Harold and Hilda Scheve Vayhinger. Her mother survives in Orange City, Florida. On February 13, 1971, she married Albert C. "Buck" Tuttle, who died January 28, 2001. Mrs. Tuttle retired on June 30, 2003, as a secretary for the deputy warden of operations at Lima Correctional Institution, after 30 years. She was a life member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. She was a retired member and former secretary of Ohio Civil Service Employees Association. She loved animals, bowling, crocheting and camping. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She loved people and was always there when they needed help. Survivors also include a stepson, Timothy A. (Elizabeth) Tuttle of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Rebecca L. (Tim) Hefner of Lafayette, Ohio and Kimberly S. Tuttle of Lima, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Traci A. Anderson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a sister, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Edsell of Circleville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Curtis, Katie, Tyler, Travis and Trey; two great-grandchildren, Brendon and Mya; and a goddaughter, Sara Poynter. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Michial Banks; and a stepdaughter, Terri A. Banks. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Arthur Wilde will officiate. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery.
