Belinda Gail Donley (Floyd), 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at home.
Belinda was born to Gertrude (Ashford) and Allen Carlton Floyd on July 25, 1956, was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Both of her parents and brother, Richard Floyd preceded her in death, but their love and spirit lived on through Belinda.
Belinda was a thrift enthusiast, with a keen eye for unique treasures. Her home was her treasure chest, filled with an array of delightful finds that she lovingly collected over the years. She had a knack for turning the ordinary into extraordinary, and her home was a testament to her creative spirit.
Belinda's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She cherished every moment with her five children/spouses, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of Belinda's love.
Belinda was a strong and resilient woman, qualities she passed down to her children and grandchildren. Her strength and determination were evident in everything she did, overcame, and she inspired those around her to face challenges with courage and grace.
Surviving Belinda are her beloved children: Larry Donley (Nichole (Fay) Donley), Mark Donley (Darlene Payne), Kristina (Donley) Braun-Donley (Nikki Braun-Donley), Leora Donley (Brian Longmeier), and Stacey Johnson (Bill Johnson). She is also survived by her dear sister, Dorothy Klett (Floyd), and fiancé, Glen Orwig.
Belinda's life was a celebration of love, laughter, resilience, and the joy of finding beauty in the little things. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her boundless strength, and her unwavering love for her family. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
