Bernice Edgington

Bernice Ellen Edgington, 90, died at 2:55 a.m. December 11, 2010, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born January 25, 1920, in Belle Center, Ohio to Leroy and Austa B. Hoon Wallace, who preceded her in death. On March 18, 1995, she married Robert J. Edgington, who died February 14, 2001. Mrs. Edgington was the owner and operator of the Lima Custom Upholstery Co. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Fred) Wildermuth, of Elida, Ohio; a grandson, Stephen Wildermuth, of Lewis Center, Ohio; a brother, Charles Wallace, of Lima, Ohio; and two close friends, Jodie Gaskill and Marge Baxter, both of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Wallace and Earl Wallace; and two sisters, Helen and Lois. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Eason Wallace will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
