Bernice M. Ruggles, 87 of Lima, Ohio died on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, December 5, 1923 in Lincoln County, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Herman Pautsch and the late Anna Schroeder Pautsch. She was the wife of the late William Harold "Bill" Casey Ruggles.
She was employed by Richland Manor Nursing Home as an LPN.
Member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church
Surviving are sons, Mike (Cathy) Ruggles of Elida, OH and Roger (Sue) Ruggles of Easton, PA, a sister, Lois Horner of Salina, KS ; 8 grand children; Tracy & Jeremy Gilliand, Eric & Kimberly Ruggles, Jake & Janel Ruggles, Bryan Ruggles, Karen Ruggles, Stefanie Ruggles, Michelle & Adam Cahill, Shannon & Phil Hoeppner, and 14 Great Grandchildren : Chase, Darien, Hayley, Kali, Keegen, Alec, Mia, Brayden, Nolan, Jaycie, Jonas, Rebecca, Ashleigh, and Justin. Also surviving is one Great GreatGrandchild Cayden and a very close friends Ann & Jim Collar of Columbus Grove, OH.
She was predeceased by brothers, Norman and Eldon, sisters, Betty and Ruth.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael W. Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and also an hour before the service.
