Bertha Eleanor Wright, 88 of Wapakoneta, Ohio died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Heartland at Centerburg in Centerburg, Ohio.
Born Monday, August 7, 1922 in Union County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Fred Neeper and the late Elizabeth Clark Neeper.
On June 1, 1946 she married Warren Wright, he preceded him in death. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta, Ohio and a graduate of Northwestern Business College, Lima, Ohio. She had worked at Sears in Wapakoneta. She was 60 year member of Eastern Star-Koneta Chapter.
Surviving are a son, Kevin Wright of Mount Vernon, OH, a daughter, Evelyn (Greg) Olson of Westerville, OH, her grandson Erik Olson of Westerville, OH and sisters, Edna Thornton of Tomball, TX and Evelyn Bowman of Lima, OH.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carol Wright, 5 brothers, Ralph Neeper, Harold Neeper, Paul Neeper, Joseph "Bill" Neeper and Jack Neeper, sisters, Mildred Neeper and Helen Neeper, and a daughter-in-law LaVonne Wright.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4, and 6-8 pm at the Chamberlain- Huckeriede Funeral Home. An Eastern Star Service will be conducted Sunday at 4pm by Hawthorne (Koneta) Chapter # 119 O.E.S..
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at First United Methodist Church, 504 Glynwood Road, Wapakoneta with the Rev. R. J. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
