Betty L. Baber,

88, died at 2:20 AM on February 26, 2015, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Facility in Lima.

Betty was born on November 08, 1926, in Lima, to Lee and Ruth (Roush) Kilgore.

Betty graduated from Bath High School. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and was formerly employed at Westinghouse as an executive secretary.

She had a love for her family, animals, enjoyed reading, shopping and had a green thumb for gardening. She was loving and kind to anyone she met.

Survivors include: her closest friends, Jerry Yahna, Glenn Fillhart, Travis Fillhart and Marilyn Wright.

Six nieces, Lisa (Glenn) Fillhart, Cynthia Yahna, Dawn Streit, Connie (Will) Knisely, Darlene Harrison and Nancy Crosser, Marilyn Wright, Dawn (Dean) Streit. Nancy (Ray) Lewis.

Six nephews, Ronald, Robert and David Crosser, Larry, Jerry and Richard Kilgore.

Betty was preceded in death by three siblings: Glenn Kilgore, Loren Kilgore and Dorothy Crosser.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. March 1, 2015. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 1, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
