89 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at 7:10 A.M. at Lima Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, June 6, 1923 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd McDonald and the late Velma (Hawk) McDonald. .
Betty married William B. Gleaves on January 19, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1973. In 1974 she married William J. Bragg. He preceded her in death.
She had worked at: Metropolitan Bank -- Lima, Ohio, Ohio National Bank -- Columbus, Ohio, Federal Reserve Bank -- Los Angeles, CA, and Job & Family Services.
She was a member of OES; V.F.W. #1275 (life member); Eagles Aerie # 3615, Indian Lake, Ohio; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 199, Lima and Orioles Nest 173, Lima, Ohio
She is survived by one granddaughter, Michelle Cunningham of Delphos, OH; two great grandchildren, Corey Williams and Cody Cunningham; one great-great grandson, Ryan Williams and lifelong friends; The Joe and Connie Guagenti family.
She was preceded in death by a son Thomas Lee Gleaves.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at Noon on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Wanda Werking officiating.
Burial will be at a later date.
