Betty Jean ?Jeannie? Combs-Workman, 62, of Camden, Tennessee, formerly of Lima, died at 10:33 p.m. February 9, 2009, at her residence. She was born September 7, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to A.C. and Virginia Ruth Scott Combs. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima, Ohio. On July 4, 2002, she married Dorsey Workman, who survives in Camden, Tennessee. Mrs. Combs-Workman retired March 1, 2005, as a factory worker from Delphi after 13 years. She loved going to church, being with her family, reading and bike riding. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her but will be in our hearts forever. Survivors also include three children, Melanie Hurd, of Union, Ohio, Jody Bass, of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Bethany (Joe Setty) Bass, of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Peggy (Jim) McVicker, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Larry (Linda) Combs, of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brandon LaValley, Josh LaValley and Karlee Krusch; two nephews, Jamie McVicker, of Lima, Ohio, and Jeff McVicker, of Cridersville, Ohio; and two great-neices and several cousins. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Prater and the Rev. Eric Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster, Ohio.
