79, died at 3:58 AM on Monday, September 22, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Betty was born on May 24, 1935, in Tomscreek, West Virginia, to the late James H. Ricker and Channie (Fraiser) Ricker.

Betty married Edward W. Crist, Sr. on April 22, 1960; they had been married for 54 years and five months. He survives in Lima. Betty was a dedicated Christian who loved to watch the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She loved reading her bible and spending time with the grandchildren.

She is survived by: a daughter, Deborah (Dale) Woods, of Lima, OH, a son Benton Crist, of Lima, OH, a son, Edward (Gina) Crist Jr., of Elida, OH and a daughter, Tammy (Edgar) Boedicker, of Greenville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; a sister, Selmar Johnson, a brother, Bill (Kathryn) Ricker, a brother, Ben Ricker, a sister Estalene (Andy) Newsome and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by: two daughters Alberta Wiremen, and Angela Crist; a grandson, Edward Woods, a sister, Velma Hall, four brothers, Buddy Ricker, Sam Ricker, Bobby Ricker, Roger Ricker and a sister, Viola Fraley.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Marcus Brown will officiate.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
