Betty was born on January 13, 1927, in Bluffton, OH to the late William Clark and Esther (McGue) Clark. On Tuesday, June 18, 1946, she married William G. Griffin. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2008.
Betty was a homemaker. She liked to golf at Tamarac. She loved volunteering at the Christmas Tree Festival held at the Allen County Museum
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberley L. (Dwayne) LaRue, of Cloverdale, OH; three grandchildren, Eric (Ammy) Griffin, of Lima, OH, Colleen (Keith) Wurster, of NC, Travis (Akiwa) Brown, of Arizona; six great grandchildren, Jason Deal, Zane Wurster, Nicholas Griffin, Nathan Griffin, Leina Brown and Nina Brown.
She was preceded in death by two sons William Griffin and Larry Griffin; two sisters Ruth Strahm and Maggie Montgomery; two brothers, Burdette Clark and Ralph Clark.
A time of sharing with friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
Interment will be in Memorial Park at a later date.
