Betty Hall

BETTY JEANE HALL, 80, died at 5:40 p.m. October 31, 2006, at her residence. She was born June 27, 1926, in Lima, Ohio to Fay Pharis and Ethel Harriet Taylor Elston, who preceded her in death. On May 11, 1946, she married David Hall, who died August 29, 1981. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker. She had worked at GroCord Rubber Co., Ex-Cell-O and City Loan & Savings. She was member of South Side Christian Church and its Friendly Christians Sunday school class. She loved baking, making chocolates and gardening. She made all kinds of special occasion cakes. Survivors include three children, Lynda (Richard) Hensley, of Lima, Ohio, Michael (Jennifer) Hall, of Celina, Ohio and Susan (Dane) Bowers, of Wauseon, Ohio; three grandchildren, Courtney Bowers, of Wauseon, Ohio, Amanda (Kevin) Little, of Katy, Texas, and Jedidiah (Jennifer) Bowers, of Wauseon, Ohio; two step grandsons, James (Cathy) Yaney and Loren (Angie) Yaney, both of Celina, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Conner Bowers, Carlos Bowers and Kamryn Little; and four step great-grandchildren, Allison, Douglas, Kali and Gage. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachael Elizabeth Hensley. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the building debt retirement fund at South Side Christian Church.
