81 of Lima, Ohio died on Sunday, January 1, 2012, at 11:19 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Monday, December 1, 1930 in Harrisonburg, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Frank Knight and Arline Hartman Knight.
Betty married Joseph W. Kinstle on May 29, 1965; he preceded her in death on August 16, 2010. She was the Assistant County Recorder for the Courthouse and Recorders Office for 29 years. She was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church, Lima; a graduate of South High School; a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Lima; Elks Auxiliary and Life member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survived by: a sister, Rosalee Rigali of Lima, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Fred (Rita) Kinstle of Botkins, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Karen Kinstle of Wapakoneta, Ohio; Nephews; David (Michele) Rigali of Lima, Ohio; three nieces; Janie (Bill Burkheimer of Lima, Ohio, Judi (Brad) Roush of Lima, Ohio, and Kathy (Tim Morgan of Lima, Ohio; Several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Lorraine (Ralph) Ferguson; five brothers-in-law, Robert Rigali, Linus Kinstle, Alfred (Kathryn) Kinstle, Thomas Kinstle, and Charles Kinstle; a sister-in-law Mary (Clarence) Riethman.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
