Betty Bible Maloney

Betty Jean Bible Maloney, 81, died at 4:15 p.m. June 8, 2008, at Golden Living Center, Lima, Ohio. She was born January 13, 1927, in Lima, Ohio to Ernest J. and Viola M. Heilman Shepherd, who preceded her in death. She married Charles L. Bible, who preceded her in death. In 1974, she married Mike Maloney, who died on November 10, 1976. Mrs. Maloney was a homemaker and had been a waitress at the Tip Top Restaurant. Survivors include three sons Ronald L. (Karen) Bible, of Elida, Ohio, and Rick G. (Marilee) Bible and Timothy J. Bible, both of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Roxanne (Joseph) Conrad, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, James L. Shepherd, of Lima, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Jodi Morman, Eric Bible, Megan Bible, Derek Bible, Laura Schulz, Cari Bible, Brian Bible, Troy Bible, Michael Conrad, Shauna Finch and Erin Kessler; and several great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Kirk Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
