Betty McClintock

Betty Jean "Jeanne" (Hartoon) McClintock passed away September 20, 2016, age 78, at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima. She was born November 24, 1937 near Vaughnsville, Ohio to the late Ferole Hartoon of Lima and Frances (Basinger) Moses of Elida. She was proceeded in death by: loving step-father Chelcy Glenn Moses; brother Ronald Hartoon Sr.; sister-in-law, Linda (Watt) Hartoon; and infant daughter Diane Jean.
Jeanne was a devoted, loving mom, grandma and friend. She graduated from Vaughnsville High School and Fredrick's Beauty Academy. Jeanne owned Venus Beauty Salon in downtown Lima for several years and also worked for Lima Correctional Institute, from which she retired. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion (Post 96) Auxiliary.
She is survived by: two daughters, Marsha McClintock of Spencerville, OH and Cheryl (McClintock) Cooper of Lehigh Acres, FL. Also, granddaughter Eryka Jade Wynter of Lehigh Acres, FL; nephew Ronald Hartoon, Jr. and great-niece Olivia of San Jose, CA; niece LaShea (Hartoon) Vice and great-niece Sienna of Lima; as well as, cousins and many wonderful friends.
Graveside Services for the cremated remains will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 3000 Harding Hwy., Lima, Ohio 45804. Dr. Michael Jenkins will officiate.
