Betty Lou Placie, 83 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at her residence.
Born Monday, September 19, 1927 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Sarah E.(Densmore) Mauk. She married William J. Placie, February 14, 1948 and he survives in Lima.
She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1945. She enyoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved attending all of their sporting events and activities.
Surviving are two sons, Tim (Amy) Placie of Cridersville, and Jim (Tiffini) Placie of Lima two daughters, Tina Placie and Brenda (John) Sciranka both of Lima. She was preceded inb death by ten brothers and three sisters, Ray Mauk, Bill Mauk, Carey Mauk, Frank Mauk, Harold Mauk, Fred Mauk, Jim Mauk, Karl Mauk, Dick Mauk and Gene Mauk sisters, Erma Bolender, Bert Stiles and Thelma Frail. She was the last surviving sibling.
Private Family Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum,
