Betty Schlosser

Betty J. Schlosser, 86, died at 4 a.m. April 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 10, 1923, in Lima, Ohio to Lawrence and Grace Giberson O?Neill, who preceded her in death. On December 11, 1948, she married Darrell R. Schlosser, who died August 1, 1999. Mrs. Schlosser was a graduate of Lima South High School. She had been an office worker at Lima Locomotive Works. She then worked at Roush Motor Sales until she married and became a homemaker. She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Council on Aging. Survivors include a daughter, Graselda J. ?G.J.? (Anthony) Loscavo, of Lima Ohio; a son, Rex R. (DeAnna) Schlosser, of Grove City, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brian (Zeana) Moon, Traci (Jack) Cayton, Alex Schlosser and Regan Schlosser; two great-grandchildren, Angela Schlosser and Clinton Moon; and her beloved dog, Sophie. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Kizer and Peggy Chaney. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. William Cronk and the Rev. Kenny Waldroup will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
