Beverly Briggs

Beverly Briggs, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Otterbein Cridersville.

Beverly was born on November 3, 1939 in Lima, Ohio, to Paul V. and Kathryn (Brown) Swick.

Beverly loved her family and spending time with them.  She enjoyed traveling, canvas painting, crafts, cooking and baking.  Bev had been employed by Kewpee, Bob Evans, Lima City Schools, St. Rita’s Hospital, and Oakwood Correctional as a corrections officer.

She is survived by her daughters: Kimberly (Tony) Swygart of Lima, Kelly (Duane) Anstead of Cincinnati, and Kris Becker of Harrod; grandchildren: Tiffany (Jeremiah), Hillary, Devin (Beth), Drew, Kari, Kurt, Karlie (Ryan), Kory (Krista), Nicholas and Kaylie; brothers: Paul Swick, James Swick and Robert (Jeannie) Swick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edith Kingler; and sisters-in-law, Paula Swick and Sandy Swick.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio with a Parish Wake at 7 p.m.   A private entombment will be at Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum, Lima.
