Billie Eugene Truesdale,
81, died at 4:25 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017, at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit in Lima, Ohio.
Billie was born on Friday, August 23, 1935, in Lima, to the late John and Ruth [Phillips] Truesdale.
Billie enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved serving the Lord by working at Mt. Lookout and church projects.
He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Johns of Lima; a son, Bob Truesdale of Lima; grandchildren, Angie (James) Schlesselman of Cridersville and Carlie (Tyler) Gallant of Cridersville; great grandchildren, Jacob and Ryan Schlesselman; sister, Barb Lotz and brothers, John, Albert and Perry Truesdale.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Truesdale.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, July 10, 2017 and from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Jon Spyker and Pastor Dan Campbell will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
