Bob D. Snider

Bob D. Snider, 93, passed away at 12:26 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Wyngate Senior Living Community in Lima, Ohio. 

Bob was born on July 20, 1931, in Lima, Ohio to the late Dwaine and Mary (Verhoff) Snider. On June 30, 1995, Bob married his loving wife, Carolyn V. Snider, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Donelda ‘Dolly' and Charles Brogee; son-in-law, Joseph Wagner; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Lenore Cowles.

Bob attended Lima Central High School and was a retiree of Ford Motor Company. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. 

Bob is survived by his son, Rob (Cathy) Snider; daughter, Susan (David) Hosey; granddaughter, Sara (Dan) Barna; great-granddaughter, Eliana Barna; sons-in-law, Marty (Earlene) Wagner and Steve (Debbie) Wagner; and daughter-in-law, Linda Wagner. Bob previously married Judith Seebach, who also survives. Also surviving are his step-grandchildren are Steve, Michele, Travis and Derek Wagner, Amber Vreeland, Becki Woods, Jill Garig, Kerry Woods, Tracy and Joel Long; 16 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank The Wyngate Senior Living Community and St. Rita’s Hospice for all their care and compassion.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Rev. Lori Wright will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
