Bonnie O. Baker,
94, went to be with the Lord at 12:30 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Richland Manor Nursing Home in Bluffton, Ohio.
Bonnie was born on Tuesday, December 18, 1923, in Sumrall, Mississippi, to the late James and Jessie (Robertson) Lucas. On Monday, January 10, 1944, she married Frank E. Baker Sr. who preceded her in death on May 11, 2000.
Bonnie was a life member of D.A.V. Auxiliary and formerly attended First Free Methodist Church. She liked playing on the computer and playing card games. Bonnie was devoted to reading the Bible. She sold Avon and enjoyed having parties where she sold toys and would sell them at local fairs.
She is survived by her children: Jessica (Danny Jones) Redd, Lima, Emma Baker, Lima, Frank E. Baker Jr., Lima, William Baker, Lima, Malcolm Baker, Lima, Linda (Scott) Morris, Elida and Brenda Germann; grandchildren, Tammy, Margo, William H. Warren, Misty, Necia, Fauna, Colt, Jayden and Alicia; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lexus, Dominic, Maliah, Jaren, Maddyson and several others; siblings, James (Dana) Lucas and Vonciel Broome.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Pearl, Orlyn, Gladys, Ervin, Reedus and Grady.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. Todd Cosart will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
