Bonnie "Marie" Snyder

Bonnie “Marie” Snyder, 82, passed away on July 22, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Marie was born on March 1, 1941, in Marion, Ohio, to Bernie and Mildred (Goad) Litteral.

Marie was a dedicated and hard worker; she had a job from the time she was 13 all the way through to her retirement. She was very passionate about dancing and loved talking politics. She also loved animals, especially her cats JR and Bubby who saved her. She spent her Thursday and Friday nights at the Eagles and enjoyed the thrift store. Marie was a huge OSU fan. If you liked Michigan prepare for a fight. You either liked her or you didn’t, because she was brutally honest. She was fancy and unique when it came to her clothes. She was an open door, she didn’t judge you by what you did in the past or what people said about you. If you wronged her though, she remembered. She loved to joke and tease people, and if you had a camera, she was ready to pose! Marie loved her family, even those not tied by blood.

She is survived by her great-nieces, Denise Potts and Desire McEntire; great-great-nieces and nephews, Reagan McKitrick, Zachary McKitrick, Derrik Brown, and River Lehman; special friends, Jim and Ann Lovejoy, Miss Carrie, and Lee.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Edith Young, Linda McCoy, and Gene Litteral; and a niece, Tracey Brown.

Per Marie’s wishes, she did not want any services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local veterinarian in Lima .
