Age 23, died at 10:48 p.m., August 13, 2017, at University Hospital of Cleveland Medical Center.
Brandon was born April 14, 1994, in Avon Park, Florida. His parents, mother Nilsa Santiago Chapman, step father Alan Chapman, and father Larry Matos, survive in Lima.
Brandon had worked at Taylor Kia in Lima, as a head porter / inventory specialist. Brandon was a peaceful, humble, amazing young man who left an impression on so many people throughout his life. He was a hard worker, and an old soul, who seemed wise beyond his years. Brandon had a big heart and was loved by so many people, but it's important to remember that Brandon is not dead he just transitioned to a better, pure existence in which the trials and tribulations of this world no longer exist. He can never die for he lives on in our hearts and he will watch over us for the rest of our lives. He will be deeply missed but he is always with us and watching over us.
Brandon is survived by his siblings Monica N. Matos, Kristen J. Matos, Alexa M. Chapman, Lawrence J. Matos, Javon Scott, and Drew Chapman; Nieces and Nephew, Michael, Xavier, Aaliyah, Kassidy, and Amiyah; Maternal Grandparents Maria Santiago and Julio Santiago; Paternal grandmother Norma Muniz; his four legged child Jinx, Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and so many friends and co-workers.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather Joaquin Marino; two Uncles Daniel Santiago and Juan Santiago.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
A memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the funeral home. Pastor Anthony Rudolph will officiate.
