Brian McDORMAN

BRIAN DOUGLAS McDORMAN, 15, died at 3:14 p.m. Aug. 25, 2005, at Toledo Children's Hospital, Toledo. He was born Jan. 19, 1990, in Lima to Doug and Chris Carder McDorman, who survive in Elida. Brian was a sophomore at Elida High School, where he was a member of the marching and concert bands and played on the soccer and tennis teams. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ, Ada, where he was baptized on July 17, 2005. He loved hunting, fishing and swimming. Survivors also include a sister, Amanda McDorman; two brothers, Travis McDorman and Dylan McDorman; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and June McDorman of Lima; maternal grandparents, Jim and Marilyn Carder of Lima; and several aunts and uncles. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer.
