C. Louise Clapper,
89, died at 7:15 PM on Thursday, December 08, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.
Louise was born on Tuesday, April 5, 1927, in Lima, to the late Rex A. and Florence (McClain) Mathews. On Wednesday, December 25, 1946, in Delphos, she married James Allen Clapper who survives in Lima.
Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and their Encouragers Class. Previously she was a member at Rousculp Church of Christ.
She is survived by: sons, Steven R. (Linda) Clapper, Craig A. (Jan) Clapper and Mark D. (Libby) Clapper; daughter, Jamie Protsman; grandchildren, Scott, Mindy, Jeremiah, Shellie, Eric, Rachel, Kirstin, Jonathan and twenty-three great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: son-in-law, Dan Protsman; brothers, Max and Rex Mathews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima and one hour prior to the service, at the church.
A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Lima Baptist Temple in Lima. Pastor Craig Clapper will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Rescue Mission.
