C. BARBARA HELLMAN, 74, formerly of Botkins, died at 4 p.m. Dec. 30, 2005, at Heart of Florida Hospital, Haines City, Fla. She was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Botkins to Alfred J. and Barbara F. Bensman Hutt, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 18, 1952, she married Albert H. Hellman in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins. He survives in Haines City. Mrs. Hellman retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. after 25 years of service as a secretary in the engineering department. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1275, Lima. She was also a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Lima, and St. Ann Catholic Church, Haines City, Fla., where she was a Eucharistic minister and lector. Survivors also include a son, Robin John (Marcia) Hellman of Friendship, N.Y.; three sisters, Bernice Kiser of Wapakoneta, Marilyn (Robert) Sherman of Oxford, and Mary Ellen (William) O'Brien of Rochester, N.Y.; and a brother, Thomas A. (Alice Patience) Hutt of Pleasant Plain. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Madonna Barbara Hellman and Melissa Ann Hellman. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Lima. The Rev. J. Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
