Camillus V. ?Bud? Frueh 91, died at 10:55 p.m. March 26, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1919, in Lima, Ohio to Cameron V. and Flora A. Nantz Frueh, who preceded him in death. On September 13, 1941, he married Virginia Diehl, who died June Mr. Frueh retired from Lima Radio Parts in 1981. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 571st Signal Company, 71st Infantry Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He served in the Army from April 18, 1944, to June 12, 1946. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, all of Lima. He loved fishing with his grandkids and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Survivors include: two sons, Gary L. (Sheila) Frueh and Steven (Susan) Frueh, both of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michael Frueh, Luke Frueh, Angie (Steve) Terry and Jennifer (Ken) Rush; six great grandchildren, Courtney, Savannah, Justin, Ashleigh, Andrew and Makayla; two brothers, L. Ralph (Jean) Frueh, of Lima, Ohio, and Frank J. (Katie) Frueh, of Carlsbad, California; and a sister, Ann Frueh, of Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Prichard, Margaret Blust and Mildred Diller; and two brothers, W. Adolph Frueh and John Frueh. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Park United Methodist Church. Pastor Derek Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 1275.
