Carmen S. Kollars, 42, of Lima, passed away 9:20 a.m., Thurs. Aug. 2, 2018, at Lima Memorial Health System with her family at her side. She was born July 21, 1976, in Lima, the daughter of Stanley E. & Laura J. (Buschur) Kollars and they survive.

3 siblings, Patrick (Holly) Kollars, Lake Havasu City, AZ,
Marla (Chris) Hall, New Haven, IN,
Abigail (Michael) Mason, Lima,
9 nieces & nephews, Kerrigan Smith, Kaylen Smith, Gavin Hatcher,
Kira Mason, Avery Kollars, Lorien Mason,
Parker Kollars, Marlie Mason, & Ella Mason,
maternal grandmother, Rita Buschur, New Weston, OH,
numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Helen & Calvin “Bud” Kollars, and Robert Buscher, and a cousin, Rachel Buschur.
Carmen was a 1995 graduate of Lima Bath High School, and she also attended Apollo Joint Vocational School. She worked at Ryan’s Steakhouse, Arbys, and the R.M.S. Dayhab. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima. Carmen’s hobbies included texting, Facebook, shopping, jewelry, and puzzles. She most enjoyed spending time with her family especially her nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Mon. Aug. 6, 2018, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, with Rev. James Szobonya officiating. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Mon. at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, North Star, OH. The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m., Sun. Aug. 5, at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House or Special Olympics. Condolences may be expressed at eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.
